October 6, 2006 - MCI was awarded for excellent performance in the 3 rd Business Excellence Award for SMEs held at Philippine Trade Training Center, Roxas Boulevard Pasay City.

The Business Excellence Award for SMEs give due recognition to the excellent performance of small and medium-scale enterprises, which comprise about 99.6% of the country's industry and accounts for nearly 70% of

the country's total workforce. It is the highest recognition given to local companies of businesses excellence and leadership.

The major criteria in the selection of winners include overall business efficiency, economic impact and significant contribution to the business landscape.
